Paula Abdul Gets A New Gig

Paula Abdul has been tapped as the guest host for the upcoming special VH1 Divas, a live concert where stars like Miley Cyrus, Jordin Sparks and Kelly Clarkson are also slated to take the stage.
Since leaving American Idol, the Emmy- and Grammy-winning ex-Laker girl's name has also been connected to shows including Ugly Betty and Dancing With The Stars. Earlier this month, Abdul rejected an eight-figure deal that awarded her a 30 percent raise from her previous salary, the AP reported Tuesday.
VH1 Divas airs live on Thursday, September 17 At 9/8c.
