Fresh from her tearful interview on Today, Kate Gosselin took in some high-end shopping in Manhattan. With bodyguard and good friend Steve Neild along to carry bags and open doors, Kate hit up FAO Schwartz and came out weighed down with goodies for her eight children.
Not true, said Kate. She said she is close friends with both Steve and his wife, and she described the handsome bodyguard as "part of our production team."
A new episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 airs tonight on TLC.

There are so few qualified body guards in this country .. He is one of the few in this country that are trained to protect Kate..
He is so good that he doesn't look like a bodyguard. That is part of his training.

NO KATE IS NOT HANGING OUT IN BARS, SHE IS HANGING OUT WITH A MARRIED MAN, MUCH WORSE. AND YOU WATCH IT WILL COME OUT THEY ARE HAVING A AFFAIR. BUT TLC IS TRYING TO KEEP IT QUITE FOR THE RATING. SHE IS A NASY PERSON

Sorry but I don't think Kate cares one whit about anybody or anything but herself. She is extremely self-absorbed, it's scary IMO.

At least she isn't hanging in bars with 22 year olds hanging all over her. She has a lot to learn, but at least her morals are still in tact which is more than I can say for Jon.

browniegirl, you might want to reread the Chicago times and stop telling lies. Today spokesman said Kate was nothing but gracious. She is young, going through a divorce, trying to raise 8 kids the best she knows how.

LOLS Brownie - I still can't believe Kate went shopping with her full entourage in tow after the TODAY show interview. And to an expensive toy store no less. How perfectly IT'S FOR THE KIDS KATEISH.
