The new head of superstar Will Smith’s New Village Leadership Academy once studied Scientology, RadarOnline.com can reveal. On Wednesday we broke the story that Jada had fired the original hire after her position became “untenable” due to her disagreement with the Study Tech curriculum devised by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.

Jada called Jacqueline Olivier to inform her of their decision and the couple filled the position at the private school in Calabasas, Calif., with Piano Foster who confirmed to RadarOnline.com that she began her duties on July 1. The school resumes in August.

“I’ve been working in education for the past 20 years at various public and charter schools so I feel I’m ready for the job.”

It seems one of Foster’s other possible qualifications stems from her knowledge of and participation in Scientology. Foster completed a Scientology Basic Study Manual course in 2005 and her name appears on an official Scientology list.

RadarOnline.com contacted The California Department of Education with regard to the school’s current status. From the beginning, the school has denied any affiliation to any religion, calling the institution nondenominational.

“I can confirm that the New Village Academy is registered with us.” Information Officer with the (CDE)  Tina Jung said. “They signed an affidavit in line with our regulations which name’s Jaqueline Olivier as the Site Administrator. It is listed as a private business and as being ‘non-religious’ within the affidavit. New Village Leadership Academy is listed as a private business with the Secretary of State's Office.

The use of the terms like "glib" or "squashed" give the Scientologists away, here. A bit parrot-like IMO. Modeling in clay is the way to true understanding in all things, LOL!

Also, when you support Study Tech, you also support Miscavige in his unrelenting campaign of violence towards COS staff members. St. Petersburg Times has a stunning series of articles from June and Aug. 2 disucssing this.

So given that both LRH and Miscavige do not have the skill set to achieve even low levels of education for themselves, who in their right mind would submit their children to coursework created by them?

Study tech was crafted by LRH who had nothing more than a high school education. Hubbard created a fake University-- Sequoia-- and granted himself a PhD. The current leader of the COS, Miscavige, is a high school drop out.

Personally, I wouldn't dream of sending a child of mine to an "academy" based upon the incoherant, delusional rantings of a convicted fraudster who flunked out of college after one year. (Hubbard's fake degree from a fake univ. doesn't count)

Study tech teaches people NOT to think critically but to accept what they are reading. http://studytech.org/study_tech1.php . Jacqueline Olivier is a highly qualified educator. The Smiths, on the other hand, are actors. But, they know best!

Max, so do you know best, it seems. Study Technology teaches how to understand, how to apply what is learned and judgement.

Study Tech is incomplete and theoretically suspect. No informed selection panel or process would recommend its use because there simply are so many better understood, better researched and better supported options out there.

Study Tech teaches kids to parrot. Clay modeling is fun, but fun doth not a competent education methodology make. Nor does 'lack of mass' making kids feel 'squashed' (seriously).

Study Tech does NOT teach kids to parrot. Model something in clay and you really understand it.
Observe a class when the teacher drones on and on, hour after hour, are they sitting up straight? No, they look squashed, drooping off their chairs.
