EXCLUSIVE: Eric Dane Nude Tape Is Subject Of LAPD Investigation

Los Angeles Police Department vice detectives are reviewing the DVD showing the nude bed-to-bathtub romp of Eric Dane, his wife Rebecca Gayheart and former beauty queen Kari Ann Peniche, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
In a statement to RadarOnline.com, the cops said: “On July 30, 2009, an unnamed source provided the LAPD’s Detective Support and Vice Division, with a copy of a DVD. According to the source, the DVD contained images that could link celebrities engaging in illegal activity. The LAPD was in the process of reviewing the voluminous files contained on the DVD when the story was leaked to the media. No determination has been made as to whether or not the DVD contained any information that could be used for a criminal investigation.
“Some of the information contained on the DVD included archived articles and photographs of porn stars and formally convicted madams, which could readily be found over the internet.
The LAPD will continue to review the DVD for potential evidence. Therefore, additional information about the contents of the DVD will be treated as confidential.”
The trio’s video – more goofy than sexy – was reportedly shot at Kari Ann’s home. We visited the $4000 a month suburban Los Angeles house she’s been leasing and spoke to a concerned neighbor. “People come and go from the house at odd hours and other times it just sits empty,” the neighbor who asked that we not use her name, said. “We have seen a lot of weird stuff going on. We even had police investigators asking us about the house and Kari Ann Peniche.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Kari Ann’s mother spoke about her concerns for her daughter and some of the wrong choices she made.
Lee Ann Peniche would like to see Kari Ann leave Hollywood but has no expectations that she will.
Meanwhile, Eric Dane seems to be taking his new exposure in stride. As we reported Tuesday, the actor was said to be in a “great mood” on his Grey’s Anatomy set.

this is there private life but why in the hell do these tapes always turn up. whatever turns u on is okay but now when u look at these people it turns out to be the first thing u think about,. the tape will overshadow there image.

BTW this an example of why I would never want to be famous...everything about your past and your life is subject to being exposed to the media for profit. We ALL have skeletons and wow can you imagine??

I agree with other comments. This is not like Paris Hilton. He's already very famous and talented. If they werent hurting anyone than let it go. Maybe it's something they now regret and did on spur of the moment...well havent we all.
