EXCLUSIVE: Comedian George Lopez Angers Family With Secret Burial

This is not a laughing matter. The family of George Lopez is furious at the comedian after he secretly buried his beloved grandmother without their knowledge, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

"George buried our grandma and didn't tell any of us about it," his sister Linda Sierra told RadarOnline.com. "He didn't let any of us know -- George's sisters, nephews and nieces are all heartbroken." A niece echoed her statements.

Benita Gutierrez was rushed to Holy Cross Hospital on August 12, where she eventually died, according to Sierra. Lopez apparently had her laid to rest at Glendale’s Forrest Lawn Memorial Park and left family members out of the service and burial.

A rep for Lopez did not immediately return a request for comment.

if he was the one to do her affairs doesnt he have control?.....and as i see why is you feeling bad about, it why you as a grandniece take order and paid?

believe what you want, .. its just sad that its not the truth. Your not part of the family and you dont know the truth of it all. Of sourse he says the same things over an over,. its his job to rehurse.

what george says all the time,why does he say exactly the same things over and over i believe him. my mom she didnt want no one to see her when she passes no one came to see her when alive

i am her great granddaughter, and yes this is the grandmother that he joked about all the time.

loveunanabenny is me, im her greatgrandaughter, and yes this is the grandmother that he made so many hateful jokes about, .. but you know he loved her sooooo much,.. whatever. Hes a peice of ****.

And another thing, he didnt HAVE to foot any bill, she already had arrangements made many years ago to be buried, when the time came, next to her husbnd at the San Fernando Mission. He ignored her wishes and did as he pleased.
