It took almost the whole summer, but Michael Jackson will finally rest in peace.

The King of Pop will be laid to rest at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Cemetery on August 29, the day that he would have turned 51, his father, Joe, told the New York Daily News.

The family has been mum on plans for the Thriller singer's body up until now; brother Jermaine said he should be buried at his Neverland Ranch, while others have wanted Forest Hills.

Jackson died after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest June 25 in Los Angeles; results of an autopsy conducted on the pop icon are being withheld by the Los Angeles Coroner's Office until the police investigation has been completed.

I'll believe this story WHEN SOMEONE ELSE from the family CONFIRMS it...other than that-Joe is just trying to grab the limelight yet AGAIN....

This is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE-I read the article in the NYPost-Now Joe said this was eating Ribs and Corn bread sitting by the pool @ a hotel in Vegas while he was quoted saying this...Now is THIS believable NOW?

this is totally ghoulish, the way the Jackson family is dragging out this burial. pretty soon, it will be Halloween and they will TRY to Make a buck, putting MJ on display. Jermaine, grow up!!! you are a 3rd rate talent!!

RIP MJ. I hope they never move him to Neverland, he made it clear he never wanted to go back there b/c it's tainted.

M.J. needs to be laid to rest in peace and his estate should go to the children and threw the court none of the family touch the estate or anyone else and a record be kept where every money or property is used.
