Universal Changes Name Of Cirque du Freak To The Vampire's Assistant

Vampire blood has a new color: Hollywood green.
With the success of Twilight and True Blood, the undead genre movies are clearly sinking their teeth into the box office, and studios are responding to the trend.
Universal Pictures said Thursday that they are changing the title of their film, Cirque du Freak, to The Vampire's Assistant.
The film, which stars John C. Reilly (Boogie Nights, Talladega Nights), hits theatres October 23.

If their going for the those who love sparkly vampires - John C Reilly was not the man to cast. Zac Effron or a Jonas brother would have been more fitting for those tween twits.
