Ryan Seacrest “Can’t Imagine” Idol Without Paula Abdul

There’s a lot of flapping going on about Paula Abdul possibly bidding farewell to American Idol. But it looks like the longtime judge has an ally in Ryan Seacrest.

The Idol host jumped to Paula’s defense on his Twitter page Monday morning, saying, “I connected with Paula Abdul today…love you PA. Can’t imagine doing Idol without you!”
Abdul’s manager, David Sonenberg, said the show has not offered her a formal contract proposal for season 9, for which auditions are already underway.
Paula reportedly wants more money and it’s not hard to understand why--- Seacrest just signed a new contract worth a reported $45 million over the next three years.
No wonder Paula’s holding out!
