For all the Newlyweds fans out there, Nick Lachey is sending you back to the DVD isle--the singer has no intention of reuniting with his recently single ex-wife Jessica Simpson.

"I think it's fun storytelling," Lachey told People magazine of rumors the pair would connect again, "but there's little truth to any of it."

Regardless, Lachey wishes Simpson well on her way.

"I certainly have heard about her breakup and I wish her the best, as I've always done. Aside from that, there really is nothing to say."

That wasn't the case a few days ago for the athletes on the ESPY Awards carpet!
