Madonna’s first newspaper column, in a series she will be penning for Israeli paper Yediot Ahronot, hit Israeli newsstands Friday.

The 'Express Yourself' singer wrote "all the puzzle pieces started falling into place" once she became more understanding of the principles behind Kabbalah, the practice of Jewish mysticism.

The 50-year-old pop legend, who made a pilgrimage to Israel five years ago, will perform in the Jewish nation in September on her Sticky & Sweet tour.
