Kelly Rutherford Steps Out Post-Baby

Embattled actress and mother Kelly Rutherford made a public appearance on Friday, her first since the birth of her baby girl Helena.
Rutherford and son Hermes attended swanky baby boutique Bel Bambini's VIP reception in Beverly Hills, Ca.
The Gossip Girl actress is currently steeped in a divorce and custody battle with her ex-husband, financier Daniel Giersch. The couple currently share custody of Helena and two-year-old Hermes.
In exclusive video to RadarOnline.com, Rutherford said she's due back on Gossip Girl's NYC set on July 20. She's also due in Los Angeles Court on July 23 for a custody evaluation.

I think Kelly makes an excellent mother and role model, and not just because she plays someone poised on TV. This ex of hers seems like a Peter Pan--cut him loose but get alimony and child support!
