Katie Holmes, filming Don't Be Afraid of the Dark in Mount Macedon, Australia Tuesday, enjoyed some quality time with daughter Suri.

The mother and daughter scampered about on the set, chasing each other while sharing laughs and fun on the balmy day down under. The light mood might have been fueled out of relief: the wife of Tom Cruise narrowly avoided injury after a car caught fire on the film set Monday.
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark also stars Guy Pearce and young Bailee Madison.

She needs to grow her hair long like this again. It's much more flattering than the shorter cut she has. Stop trying to conform to your surroundings and just be yourself already.
