Katherine Jackson Still Trying To Gain Control of Michael’s Estate

Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine filed court papers Friday in a renewed attempt to gain control of her son’s estate.
Katherine lost an earlier bid to become administrator of the estate. John Branca and John McClain are executors and administrators of Michael’s estate. Jackson’s trust has a “no contest” clause which basically cuts out any individual who seeks to challenge his will.
The trust is not a public document but has been referred to in several public filings.
Michael’s mom apparently wants to continue her bid to control the estate but does not want to be in violation of the no contest clause. In the court papers filed Friday, Katherine wants to know if the court would deem it a violation of the no contest provision of the trust if she objects to the appointment of executors or requests the appointment of an executor or administrator.
What does it all mean? When you cut through the law-school gibberish Michael’s mom wants to be in control of her son’s estate and even though she’s lost in court before, she’s not done. But she’s being careful not to violate the no contest clause and the battle continues.

If Katherine can not respect her son's Will the Judge should relieve her of the $40%. MJ didn't wanted his family involved in the decision making process of his Estate!

She acts just like Joe. He gets more credit than he deserves. And the mother, sitting back and allowing him to beat his own kids. How pathetic is that.

I hate character limits. But let me just say this, a will is set for a reason. The person wants it that way, and that's the way it should remain. There should be no contesting. Screw them all.

The only Jackson that I can say I have respect for is Janet. The rest of them can go to hell for all I care. Money hungry pieces of trash they are.

It's all about the money. Look at the way his father acted just days after his son died...talking about his record label. And we all know he beat those kids.

You learn just what people are about once someone passes. It's as if they won the lottery with their son's passing. Both father and mother are money hungry, as well as the rest of the family. Pathetic they are.

Basically Michael even left his mother out of his estate by leaving everything to a trust, so the only way she can get money is to be administrator or executor of the estate. This is a very greedy money hungry family.

She is just looking at the money she will be making as executor or administrator of Michael's estate. She is just in for it for the money, and I think if Michael knew that this is how she would act, and that is why he did not leave her in charge

Does this really surprise any body? Why do you think Michael did not leave his estate in his family hands, for the obvious! This fight will never end until they have drained everything they could not from him while he was alive.

give it a break already!! let the assigned administrators do their jobs. that's what michael wanted, hence, his will!
