Michael Jackson’s family and advisors have finally made a decision on where to hold a memorial service celebrating the late singer’s life and career.  It will be Tuesday, July 7 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The 20,000-seat venue is where Michael spent his last night.  He rehearsed there for his upcoming London concerts, right up until midnight on June 24.  Jackson died the following afternoon.

Instead of Jermaine Jackson all over CNN and Katherine running to court over the will, why don't they BURY this guy already?

Two facts about MJ: 1) He was solely responsible for his rise to stardom and success; 2) He was solely responsible for his fall from fame; nobody ruined him except himself.

It's good that MJ died when he did. It was nothing but downhill for him. At least he was able to save what little face he had left (no pun intended) by dying now.

That sounds perfect, maybe a little small...
After that is done PLEASE get him up to Neverland to REST IN PEACE !!
That is the obvious choice and it will be nice to know where he is and that
he is safe.

I agree with you jmays but I also think they were trying to arrange something at Neverland but the owners declined this...plus Saturday is a holiday, perhaps people (meaning close friends/family) already had holiday plans?

So the public viewing is Tuesday, 13 days after this poor man died. Are they ever going to bury him or just leave him lying alone in the refrigerator at the mortuary? I wouldn't do that to someone I loved.

You are missed very much MJ! All the money in the world couldn't buy you happiness! You were amazing but what a sad life! How sad for the children!
