Kate Major earned a "Super Senior" award for volunteerism while in high school. That's just one of the fascinating revelations RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned about Jon Gosselin's latest squeeze.

Kate attended Central Catholic High School in Allentown, PA, graduating in 2001. Ironically, the school is located just an hour from Jon Gosselin's Wernersville home. The former Star magazine reporter was all about being in the news even then. She worked on the school newsletter and was a member of Central Catholic Broadcasting, a club that produced a morning news program. She was a tennis team star and frequently volunteered for a variety of community services.
Kate's come a long way from being a superstar at Central Catholic to having a lead role in Jon Gosselin's real-life circus.

I used to like Jon, but now I think he's a total dirt bag! Jon is so impressionable! He changes depending on who he's hanging out with. Kate had to run the household because the man child obviously couldn't !

Even when he is back at the house with the kids you see him out on his Harley not playing with the kids. When he got back from france he didnt say he was going to see his kids , said wished it lasted longer but he "had to come back to film".
