EXCLUSIVE DETAILS: Jon & Kate's New Season - No Love Interests Allowed, Lots Of Struggles

It's a domestic disaster and a ratings champion and the new season of Jon & Kate Plus 8 will feature single parenting but not dating, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The showed has resumed taping after soaring to record ratings just months ago by saving Jon and Kate Gosselin's divorce announcement for broadcast. (Ok, we spoiled it, reporting exclusively a week before what the "big announcement" was going to be.)

In the TLC show's new season, which begins August 3, single parenting will be on display as Kate sets up tents so the kids can sleep in the yard and Jon picks up his new girlfriend from high school.

We're KIDDING! Ok, not about the Kate part, but Jon doesn't date high school girls. Hailey Glassman is 22 and Kate Major is 26.

Oh, and that's another thing RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively about the new season - don't expect to see any of Jon's love interests on the show. "There will be no girlfriends," a source close to production emphatically told us. (Yes, many people on the show are ticked off at Jon.)

In the first two episodes, Kate struggles with setting up tents and starting a campfire for her brood of eight. She also decides to remodel the kitchen for more space but is overwhelmed by the prospect of doing dishes in the bathtub when she realizes she will be two weeks without a kitchen. So Kate takes the kids to the beach and Jon deals with the cabinet installation.

"Viewers will see Jon and Kate parenting separately," the source told RadarOnline.com. "The focus will be on the kids interacting with their parents one at a time."

In a recently released promo Kate says ,"I'm going to do things I've never done before."

We were just wondering if Jon told himself the same thing before taking Hailey to France a few weeks ago and then spending several days in the Hamptons with Major.

PopGoMom I agree, on day the kids when their older are going to see that their Birthdays, Vacations, alone time etc were only ratings ploys. They will also read how both parents cared more for $$$$$$ then their emotional well being.

Kate is a good person, and her heart must be breaking the way her husband is disgracing the family name. When you hear the name you will always think about the sleezy women with Jon.

I was a faithful viewer from the beginning and a divorced mom of 2. I no longer will be watching this show - not that TLC even cares, but it's become something very different.

How hard can it be for Kate. She has a full time nanny. The show should be called" The Nanny and Eight say goodbye to Kate."
No body gives a crap about Kate; but the children deserve better than to be nothing more than CASH COWS.
