EXCLUSIVE DETAILS: Jon Gosselin Dating Reporter With Murky Past

Jon Gosselin sure is having fun now that he's decided hanging out with Kate & eight kids is not enough stimulation.
After taking his romance with Hailey Glassman, 22, public, Jon is now stepping out with Kate Major, 26, a reporter for Star magazine. Jon and his new Kate had dinner in the Hamptons on Wednesday night with Michael Lohan plus two other couples, Real Housewives of New York City's Jill Zarin, her husband Bobby Zarin, and Southampton Mayor Mark Epley and his wife, Marianne.
(Does this mean Major gets to write it all off on her expense account? Just asking.)

Meanwhile, poor Hailey Glassman was waiting for Jon back in New York City. She had been telling a friend up until days ago that she planned to move in with Jon in his new apartment. She even bought furniture for his new bachelor pad, sources tell RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Hailey is a certified party animal who has a drug arrest with multiple charges in her past and RadarOnline.com has run several photos plus video of her smoking pot.
Jon's new girlfriend is also apparently no angel.

The New York Post quoted a friend of Major's as saying the reporter once went to rehab. Major denied it. But sources close to her tell RadarOnline.com that she has a murky past. That she has gotten "too close" to subjects she covered (yes, that certainly has a ring of truth to it!) and that she has hit the party scene very, very hard. We're sure all the murky details will come out and become clear very, very soon.
Meanwhile, Major describes her romance with Jon as an accident! "I didn't mean it to happen, it just did. I went to do a story on Jon and ended up falling for him," she said.
Well, it's a good thing she wasn't assigned to cover a murder trial.
Jon and Major had been out to dinner in New York City on Saturday night. She told reporters at the time that they were just "friends". Apparently her definition of the word friends became broader than Webster's sometime after that night!
Who knew that Jon Gosselin was capable of all this drama? And now of course we want to know if Kate Major will be Star's new "Deep Throat" on the Jon & Kate Plus 8 beat, and is pillow talk off limits or will it end up in print?
