Kate Gosselin's brother says he's lost her to fame and that the network TLC has tried to cut him off from her family.
Kevin Kreider made his comments on CBS The Early Show in an appearance Thursday that probably will not promote family harmony.
Kevin and wife Jodi both appeared on the network show and saved their harshest words for TLC. "It's a ratings thing, but they're playing with these kids lives," Kevin said.

The network films too many episodes and that the kids are being deprived of their childhoods, Kevin and Jodi charged.
Asked if he thought he lost his sister Kate to fame, Kevin answered, "If you want to put it like that, yeah."
Expressing their concern for the kids both Kevin and Jodi said they made the TV appearance to change the way the show operates. "We want to call out for change," Kevin said. The couple says they want a "politician with a heart" to help protect the children.
During the appearance the couple also admitted that while they've tried to reach out to Jon and Kate in recent weeks they've been successful only "to a point."
Kevin added, "The more we want to speak out for our nieces and nephews the harder it is to connect with Kate and Jon. But we love them very much."
He promised that he and Jodi will continue to speak out.
Hmm...we think it's going to be pretty tense around the Thanksgiving dinner table this year.

WHAT CREEPS-fact they're on TV says exactly what they are about. they'll make money off this. Pray Kate gets divorce FAST, money kept for household for the children's sake - need stability in their home.

Quick question...the book that Uncle Kevin & Aunt Jodi write, do you think they'll put the profits from the book sales in an account for their nieces & nephews? They are sooo worried about them and all. LOL! B*llsh*t!

Of course the family had to move, how long could 6 children share 1 room? With the tabloids always trying to take pictures, I'd want a house with more land around it...wouldn't you???

Jodi and Kevin care so much for the kids that they are trying to get a book deal for the tell all book they wrote about J&K. They need the money after they were kicked off the show for asking for more money.

If laws are not established, there are going to be people making the decision to try for a big family in hopes TLC will buy them a big house, cars, trips and cash.

Where is PA's Governor in all this! He spoke up on the Oprah Show when there was an puppy mill case in PA. Why isn't he standinging up and protecting these children. Where is Oprah? Id Jodi and Kevin didn't speak, there would be silence.

If Jodi and Kevin wanted to cash in, they would be quiet and rejoin the show. Instead, they are calling out TLC and destroying any chance of getting on TLC's payroll. They have chosen the children's protection over the $$$.

Their million dollar home with the pool and crooked houses is more of a set then it is a home. With their parents only present to film episodes, TLC has created the perfect "Lab" for a cheap production and real drama.

The ONLY ones cashing in on this family implosion is TLC, Jon & Kate. The kids lost their home in a family friendly neighborhood and now are behind bars with cameras aimed at their every move.

People need to realize that Jodi and Kevin are TRYING to get laws to protect children involved in Reality TV. When is it ok to have children surrounded by a film crew inches away from their face from morning to night, bare butt on a potty!!
