BREAKING NEWS: Judge Praises Ryan O'Neal At Drug Charge Progress Hearing
Posted on Jul 10, 2009 @ 05:02PM

Ryan O'Neal won rave reviews in a Malibu courtroom on Friday. Judge Lawrence J. Mira praised the actor for following all the conditions the Court imposed when Ryan pled guilty to drug possession earlier this year.
Ryan and his son Redmond were arrested September 17 at their Malibu home. On January 9, O'Neal, 68, pled guilty to a single felony count of methamphetamine possession. As a condition for staying out of jail, he was ordered to pay a fine and enter into an 18-month-long drug diversion program. If he successfully completes it, the charge will be dismissed.
O'Neal, who lost his beloved Farrah Fawcett on June 25, has his next progress hearing on July 16, 2010.
Redmond, 24, who has a lengthy list of drug and probation violation offenses to his name, is currently in jail on a different felony drug possession charge.

I've always thought that Ryan took the rap for the meth to avoid his son having yet another charge. (Or he had the meth due to confiscating it from Red earlier) Ryan does not look like he has any interest in meth - the pounds alone confirm that.

Why is it these celebrities turn to drugs, they have it all, is it all but happiness. Maybe they need to live how we do and find happpiness before all the money. This isn't even good drugs. This is all so sad!
