Kara DioGuardi will be hearing wedding bells soon.

The outspoken American Idol judge, who spiced up the eighth season with her sassy, brash wit, will be getting married in less than two weeks, she told her cousin, Regis Philbin on his talk show Tuesday.

DioGuardi said that she met her hubby-to-be in Maine, where he was working as a contractor on neighboring property. She said the two hit it off, followed by a little "summer lovin'," before clearing a path to the altar.
