Growing up, Jon Gosselin had ambitions far different than being the straight man for a reality TV series.
With his role model being someone along the lines of David Beckham, the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” star dreamed of being a soccer star.
“Jon was always flashy, wearing his Addidas sneakers and his baseball cap backwards,” his Wyomissing Area High School classmate Dominick Fabrizio said.
“We won the state championship and I remember that Jon thought he’d go to a great college and have an amazing soccer career.
“Some of his team mates did but Jon ended up working as the manager of a Blinds R Us at the Berkshire Mall.
“Jon ended up selling blinds at the mall -- his soccer dreams definitely puttered out.”
