They tried to make her go to rehab, but apparently not hard enough.
Amy Winehouse, known as much for her hedonistic lifestyle as her musical talents, kept her reputation intact with an booze-addled performance at a St. Lucia jazz festival Saturday, the News of the World reported.
"She could barely stand as she guzzled drink, forgot her words then burst into tears as the crowd jeered," the Web site reported.
According to the Web site, Winehouse showed up to the gig an hour late after a six-hour booze binge, forgot the lyrics to her own songs, leaned on her microphone stand to stay upright, flashed her panties to the crowd and slogged through an entire song with her back to the audience.
