Actor Bradley Cooper has put week-old rumors to rest by saying he's not dating Jennifer Aniston, and that he's only met her a handful of times.

"I'm very flattered," Cooper told People magazine of speculation that he and Aniston were flirting at the New York premiere of her new movie Management.

"I met her three times in my life."

While sympathy may go to still-single Jen, Cooper says his mother is the one let down most.

"My mom loves it, but unfortunately it's not true," Cooper said.
