UPDATE:
The gunman accused of shooting at bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman has been charged with attempted murder based on evidence from witnesses at the scene. Lieutenant Dave Whitlock of Colorado Springs Police told RadarOnline.com,  “I can confirm that Hoang Nguyen has been charged based on information gathered from people at the scene despite the fact that we did not find any firearms or bullet holes.”

TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman and a fellow bail bondsman were shot at, but not hurt, Tuesday in Colorado by a murder suspect .

The pair of bounty hunters, according to Sgt. Roger Vargason of the Colorado Springs Police Dept., were attempting to bring a 35-year-old murder suspect, Hoang Nguyen, into custody at an apartment complex. Nguyen shot at the men with a handgun, Vargason said, and left the scene on a motorcycle. He was later apprehended at a nearby Toys R Us, police said.

Nguyen is wanted on charges of attempted second-degree murder, domestic violence and a gun charge, police said.

Chapman's crew was on hand to film the bust, but missed getting the actual shooting on tape .
