Katie Holmes Steps Out After Death of Brother-In-Law

Katie Holmes stepped out in West Hollywood last night to celebrate the birthday of pal Victoria Beckham, just four days after the sudden passing of her brother-in-law.
Joseph Jeffrey Fretti was found dead in his mother's Sarasota, Fl. home on April 12, during a visit with his two young children. Fretti was the husband of Holmes' oldest sister Tamera.
Katie turned up sans husband Tom Cruise to Cecconi's, an Italian restaurant in LA, donning a black cocktail dress and black cardigan.
Other friends who showed to celebrate Beckham were gal pals Eva Longoria Parker, Kate Beckinsale, and Jennifer Lopez.
