Posted on Apr 30, 2009 @ 11:46AM
X-Men Origins: Wolverine star Hugh Jackman appeared on Good Morning America Thursday, and talked about the complications promoting the film in areas such as Mexico, where the swine flu virus has many theatres closed.
He said that he was notified by 20th Century Fox on Saturday that the area's local cinemas would likely be shut down temporarily; by Sunday such was confirmed.
The A-lister put the situation in perspective in his first-class fashion.
"Look, I'm a moviegoer, Yes, I'm a producer, but there's a lot more important things in life than movies," he said.
He said he would return to Mexico to open the film and celebrate the end of swine flu.
