David Letterman Doesn't Take Sick Days

Give David Letterman his due.
The 62-year-old (multimillionaire) Indiana native held true to his blue collar roots Wednesday, working through what appeared to be a severe case of laryngitis.
Mocking his barely-audible, raspy, voice, he switched places with the cue card guy, had bandleader Paul Shaffer read the nightly top ten and told his audience: "There's nothing wrong with me, its your set."
His guest Jennifer Garner, showed her nurturing side, bringing him tea and honey. Letterman reciprocated, applying Neosporin to a wound on her knee.
