Beyonce Knowles continues to solidify herself as a triple threat--her first acting effort since the Academy Award-winning Dreamgirls is this weekend's number one film.

The campy Obsessed, costarring Heroes' Ali Larter, raked in $28.5 million in box office receipts.

Revolving around a faithful husband who gets targeted by a blonde psychopath (Larter) at work, attempting to steal him from his wife (Beyonce)., the film claimed a landslide victory over Zac Efron's 17 Again ($11.6 million).

Knowles, married to hip hop mogul Jay-Z, will next hit the road on an International tour in support of her album I Am...Sasha Fierce.
