Oprah's Pup Passes Away

Oprah Winfrey suffered a loss late last week when one of her newly-adopted puppies passed away. Winfrey adopted Ivan, a golden cocker spaniel mix, earlier this month after adopting his sister Sadie.

"I'm saddened by his passing though we only had him for a weekend," Winfrey tells ET.

To make matters worse, Sadie is said to be suffering from parvovirus, an infectious disorder that can cause diarrhea and vomiting in dogs. Thankfully, she is currently in stable condition.

Winfrey says: "I remain hopeful that Sadie will pull through."
