Nadya writes: "Since when is it a crime to call 911 when one feels a potential threat or in danger?"

Who said it's a crime...? That position, you created specifically to be easy to argue against -- the classic straw-man fallacy. But I would expect no less from someone who would call 911 because her kid swallowed vinegar and baking soda.
