Amy Winehouse: "I'm Innocent"

Amy Winehouse says she didn't do it.

The troubled Rehab singer is accused of attacking  a fan at a high society ball held in London's Berkeley Square back in September of last year.

Dancer Sherene Flash said she wanted to take a picture with the 25-year-old singer when Winehouse punched her in the eye, saying, "Life can't go on. I can't do this anymore."

Winehouse arrived late at the hearing this morning at the  City of Westminster Magistrates Court, prompting her attorney to first apologize to the judge on her behalf.

When the judge asked if she punched the woman, Winehouse responded "No, no, no." She pleaded not guilty to a charge of common assault.

And when asked her name in court, Winehouse mad a point of saying that her name is Amy Jade Civil, her married name, even though she is separated from her husband.

Winehouse's father Mitch also attended the hearing, but it was Amy who stole the show wearing a form-fitting, brightly colored floral dress.

The case was adjourned until July 23.
