"Slumdog" Star Wants to Host "Who Wants to be a Millionaire"

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, who played the host of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" in this year's Best Picture winner, is hoping for a little freelance work.

The "Slumdog Millionaire" star tells Hollyscoop that he would like to "take on the role as host [of the U.S. version] and have [co-star] Freida Pinto in the hot seat."

It could happen. Leading man Dev Patel and the movie's director, Danny Boyle, are already trying to work out a deal for a fundraising appearance benefitting the Railway Children charity.
