Paula Abdul Explains Diss

American Idol judge Paula Abdul set the record straight regarding her remark that using more than the established judges "slows down the pace of the show."
According to ET, just before going onstage for last night's live broadcast, the 46 year-old Abdul insisted she was misunderstood.
"It is unfortunate that a quote of mine was taken completely out of context today," said Paula. "I was actually referring specifically to the use of 'guest judges' in seasons past, NOT Kara (DioGuardi) or this season.
"I am thrilled to have her by my side each week on American Idol."
