Wynonna Judd New Diet Spokesperson

Wynonna Judd is melting....at least she hopes so.

The country star just signed as the new face of 'alli' -- a weight-loss pill. It's the only FDA-approved weight-loss product available to adults 18 years and older without a prescription.

Wynonna has battled the bulge her entire career and says she's looking forward to dropping the pounds.

"I've passed up a lot of products, but with alli I have choices over what I can eat," she said. "I hope that I can inspire people to be better. . .that they can see themselves in me and say, 'If she can do it, I can do it.'"

Wynonna will appear in a national 'alli' television advertising campaign scheduled followed by a series of print ads.
