Witches Gets Series

Given the appeal of teen-skewing shows like Charmed and Supernatural, and the popularity of Gossip Girls, is it any wonder that Warner Brothers TV is making a series based on the 1987 flick The Witches of Eastwick?
The film starred Cher, Michelle Pfeifer, and Susan Sarandon as modern-day wiccans in a small town who deal with the arrival of a strange and evil man who attempts to corrupt them (Jack Nicholson).
The new series, which will be written by Maggie Friedman (Jack & Bobby), will recap and continue the saga as a good vs.evil tale.
