Wall Street 2
Posted on Jan 13, 2009 @ 09:17AM
It's been 22 years since Oliver Stone made the film Wall Street, in which powerful stockbroker Gordon Gekko famously pronounced that "Greed is good."
Michael Douglas starred as Gekko who mentored young Bud Fox, played by Charlie Sheen.
Now, with the economy in the dumper and Wall Street having lost its luster, Allan Loeb (21) is writing a sequel for Fox in which Gekko has to learn new and more sinister investment tricks in order to survive.
(Can you say Bernie Madoff?)
The film is being fast-tracked and Douglas is expected to return.
