Bahamian police wired a room for a meeting with John Travolta's alleged extortionists, RadarOnline.com has learned. Despite reports that no tapes exist of conversations about the plot, a source very close to the situation has confirmed that a key meeting was taped.
Former Senator Pleasant Bridgewater and paramedic Tarino Lightbourne were arrested in connection with the case.
A knowledgeable source said that Lightbourne retained Bridgewater as his attorney, in a bid to legitimize his attempt to get $25 million from Travolta. The taped meeting was with one of Travolta's lawyers and was key to the arrests.
