Look for Broadway to get a boost when Tony Soprano himself, James Gandolfini, stars in God of Carnage. The play begins previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre February 28.
Also starring in the show about a feud between a pair of liberal, middle-class couples, are Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, and Marcia Gay Harden.
The play ran in London last year with Ralph Fiennes.
Meanwhile, Gandolfini's costar Edie Falco has been shooting her soon-to-debut on Showtime series Nurse Jackie in which she plays a caring, pill-addicted health professional at a New York City hospital.
