Kanye West has been named to co-host Wallpaper* magazine's 2009 Design Awards in Paris later this month, according to our friends at musictoob.com. Wallpaper* - the international design, lifestyle and fashion bible - is publishing its annual Design Awards issue today. That issue is traditionally is biggest selling edition.

Kanye's new role of design judge will pair him with a bunch of other judges we've never heard of, some of whom have really cool sounding French names.
