Kathy Griffin was "busy" on New Years Eve!

The outspoken comic told one lucky reveler to "shut up" while she and Anderson Cooper broadcast the New Years Eve celebration live from Times Square on CNN.

"Screw you! I'm working," ripped Griffin to the off-camera fan. "Why don't you get a job buddy?"

And then Griffin took it too far...

"You know, I don't go to your job and knock the d***s out of your mouth!"

Whoa! Someone's got a 'cable' mouth!

And just in time for a commercial break.
