Walking the red carpet in New York last night for her new film Bride Wars, actress Kate Hudson took the opportunity to send some love to grieving John Travolta.

In fact, ET reports, she walked up to reporters without having to be called over.

"My blessings go out to that family. You can't even..." she said, then stopped. "They're going to go through such a difficult time... I wish the family my blessings and prayers."
