Would you take weight-loss advice from Jessica Simpson now?

Footage of a workout video the 28-year old shot in 2005 has surfaced and apparently Simpson is trying to hide more than a few bulges.

Jessica reportedly showed up "tipsy" for the "Speedfit system" taping, prompting papa Joe Simpson to ultimately block retailing of the vid.

"Jessica was a mess during that shoot," an insider reveals.

"They asked her to come back and re-shoot, but she refused, and that's why she's facing a lawsuit now."

Speedfit owner Alex Astilean has sued the Simpson's for a $10 million breach of contract.

"I think you would be justified in calling her a [expletive], and in calling Joe an [explitive]," said Simpsons's own manager David Levin.

Yikes! Sounds like Jessica's burning more bridges than calories.
