In the midst of her personal tragedy, Academy Award winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson may have at least one thing to look forward to: Singing The Star Spangled Banner at the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama.
"Organizers are talking to her about singing the national anthem at the inauguration on January 20," a source with the Democratic National Committee told RADAR. "She is a Chicago native, a big Obama supporter, and the message of renewal could not be in better hands."
As RADAR has reported, the 27 year-old -- whose family was murdered last year -- had been planning to make her comeback February 6 at the MusiCares Person of the Year celebration.
