Howie Mandel In The Hospital

Stand-up comic Howie Mandel was admitted to a Toronto hospital on Monday night after experiencing intense chest pains.

Police officers found the 53 year-old comedian conscious in the elevator of the Sheraton Hotel on Queen Street around 7 PM. Hospital sources say that he was brought to St. Michael's Hospital. Reports also indicate he was complained of an irregular heartbeat earlier in the day.

Mandel, who was in Toronto taping his new show, Howie Do It, is staying overnight in the hospital and being treated for an irregular heartbeat.
