Dancing With the Stars couple Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff are now, officially, a real-life couple.

Though reps of the stars have not confirmed or denied it, People Magazine reports that the couple -- who are in the Dancing With the Stars tour and have been an item since the summer -- became engaged in Las Vegas at the Wynn Hotel on New Year's Eve.

Chmerkovskiy turns 28 on January 17. Smirnoff turns 21 on March 13. Both hail from the Ukraine.

The tour ends next month. Can wedding bells be far behind?
