Due to the craptastic economy, The New York Times has begun selling front page ad space.
No longer will you look at the front page and quickly determine the most important events that happened while you were sleeping. Now you will see which advertisers have the most money to flaunt.
The first ad has been bought by CBS.
The New York Times Co., like many other newspaper publishers across the US, have cut costs and reduced staff through buyouts and layoffs.
