Bush Asks For TV Time
Posted on Jan 13, 2009 @ 12:30PM
While it's customary for the networks to grant the U.S. President time for a national address, not every network has agreed to give outgoing George Bush 15 minutes of prime time on Thursday night.
The President wants to give a farewell address to the nation, but if it airs at 9 p.m. it will delay the start of hit shows like Grey's Anatomy, The Office, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. That could cost the networks viewers...and advertising revenue.
Look for some, but not all, the networks to comply.
