On his blog, singer Donny Osmond says that some of his best friends are gay. But that doesn't mean he approves of the lifestyle.

Donny and his wife Debbie are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and says he supports "church leaders who say that we can accept those with gay tendencies in our church as long as they do not act upon their temptations."

But, he insists, that doesn't only apply to gays.

"Whether we may be tempted to be immoral with members of our own sex or of the opposite sex, we are expected to live chaste lives."

Donny turns 51 on Tuesday. Guess we know who will and won't be sending him cards.
