High School Musical star Zac Efron visited patients at Los Angeles' Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA on Friday, boosting spirits and -- with the backing of Gifts.com -- handing out nearly $100,000 worth of toys.
The 21 year-old actor gave a lot of personal attention to each child and their family, bringing something more important than gifts: he brought joy as he posed for photos and signed autographs.
No word on how it felt for Efron to be back in a hospital, where he spent some time earlier this year for an emergency appendectomy.
