Oprah's Strange Bedfellow

She was a big bucks, high-profile cheerleader for the Presidential bid of Barack Obama.
But that didn't stop Oprah Winfrey from accepting a huge donation from Dallas billionaire Harold Simmons -- who was a major supporter of Obama rival John McCain.
Simmons was the major donor to the American Issues Project, the group that ran ads linking Obama to former activist William Ayers.
Despite that, according to Fox News, Oprah accepted donations to her Leadership Academy in Johannesburg, South Africa: after her, Simmons is the biggest donor, giving $1 million.
